Q: Do I have to book a table?

A: The restaurants get very busy. If you need the certainty of a table, we strongly advise that you book a table. We do not take bookings for tables in the bar. All of our pubs have some bar tables that are allocated on a first come basis (at the Joiner's Arms, Hunloke Arms and Bull's Head Repton we do book some of these tables out under "pub bookings")

Q: What is the maximum table size that I can book?

A: 8 people... please see article 'Large Tables & Functions'

 

Q: Can I book a table in the bar?

A: At the Bulls Head Repton, The Joiner's Arms and the Hunloke Arms you can you can book a table in the bar by selecting the "pub bookings" area. All of our pubs have some bar tables that are allocated on a first come basis. 

You can eat the same food in the bar area as the restaurants but the service is a little more informal ordering through the Chilled Pubs App or at the Bar. For more on this see 'Do I Need To Book'

 

Q: I am going to be late - what should I do?

A: We will hold the table for you for 15mins. If you are going to be later than this, please get in touch via the 'live chat' on the Chilled Pubs app.... or any of the Chilled Pubs websites. We will do our best to find a later table for you.

 

Q: Can I extend the duration of my booking

A: Please get in touch via 'live chat' on the website or the app. We will do our best to give you what you want.

 

Q: Can I book a table in a specific area?

A: Yes. When you book a table online, you have the ability to choose the part of the pub where you would like to sit. The system will only offer a table if there is one available. For more on this see 'Different Areas in Our Pubs'

 

Q: Can I pay for a meal / bottle of wine as a present for someone else?

A: Yes. Please get in touch via 'live chat' on the website or the app

 

Q: Why do I have to give my card details when making a booking?

A: We will do not charge you for a cancellation or amendment. We take card details when you book online, this is just to ensure you’re not a robot!! or a malicious booker. Chilled Pubs do not store your card details, they are held by a secure, specialist third party - compliant with all data protection rules

 

Q: Can I pay with cash?

A: No, I'm sorry, We are a cashless business - WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH - we only accept payment via cards
